Helen of Troy Soft-Grip 1875W Chrome Dryer

I liked this dryer the blow power was excellent, the only thing I don't like is the buttons are so smooth it is hard to slide them up to turn it on. but that is minor, so I would recommend this to others.

Ive been a Hairdresser for over 26 years and as you can imagine, Ive used many, many hairdryers over the years. I really do like this one because it is not only light-weight but also very, very windy. This gives me tremendous speed while working and it doesnt tire me out. I was thrilled to be able to find it again!I previously owned this dryer in purple too. I wish they still had it in purple.

The thing stopped working 2 weeks after I recieved it.

My wife decided it was time to replace her 20 year old (at least) Helen of Troy. So I went looking for a Helen which was maybe a little warmer and maybe blew harder. I came across this one and decided it looked cool (you see whats important to a man!) And the price was good (another important thing to the husband!). I seldom used the older Helen...I have longish (over the ears anyway) hair which is extrodinary thick for a 54 year old (or anyone for that matter)..anyway the older one just took a long time, so unless I was going our or had some important meeting I just let mine air dry. BUT WITH THIS one I can blow dry my hair in just a few minutes!! Its terrific!!!! And, yeah, my wife likes it to.
