Works Great! Watch The "how To Use" Vid On Youtube!
I was having trouble with the instructions on how to use this undo pin. Just go to YouTube! After that, no more difficulties! Extremely easy and functional undo pin! It does work!! The printed instructions are crap! Just watch on YouTube!!! No more questions! it works great! I use everyday to keep my hair back at work. I have thin curly shoulder length hair. It holds perfectly!!

My Favorite Hair Accessory! A *tip* Below!
I've used this, since they've came out with it! I have long, blonde, natural, wavy hair. I also straighten it, about once a week. I use it either way, whether in a bun or straight. I use it almost everyday, during these hot summer days in Florida. I can't understand all these negative reviews? I make a bun, loosen it, then do just as they say to.

I also have a trick I've used for years (I'm 51 yrs young), I get constant compliments, people ask how I get such a beautiful hairstyle? Maybe it will work for you.....

1. At night, after air drying all day (with mouse or gel, your choice), I place my hair in a ponytail with a hair elastic, at the crown. (I try to air dry as often as possible).

2. After I place in a ponytail with a hair elastic, I take a section of the pony tail, place the end in the middle of a crew sock, then roll to the base.

3. I then take the ends of the sock, tie into a simple knot. I sleep with the socks in my hair, remove the next morning. Then, lightly spray with hairspray

4. Viola! Tons of beautiful, long lasting curls!!!!. Lightly spray with hairspray.

5. This is when I place my hair in a bun, use the "Goody Modern Updo"....

It will last me for days. I learned this as a small child, when my Mom use to roll my hair for school. My trendy 13 yr old granddaughter, who was here visiting me, asked me the other day, "Wow! How did you get your hair like that"??? I had just taken it it down, after the 3rd day. Some may like to leave it down. I can't, too hot here in Florida, with way too many hot flashes :)

Such Potential!!
When I saw this, I was pretty excited to try it because (like the previous reviewer), I have very long, thick but fine-textured hair & really like to try different styles. However despite many attempts (including buying a second "Modern Up-Do" to test if I bought a lemon), it simply did not work on either my hair or my daughter's (similarly thick yet fine textured hair).
I've never quite figured out if it was the bad design: maybe the finishing is too slick or perhaps Goody's design is wide when it should've been a teensy bit more narrow (or vice versa). Nonetheless, it truly doesn't matter whether or not I can pinpoint 'why' it didn't work, it simply did not & for that reason alone I cannot recommend it.

Really Wanted This To Work...
This did not work at all for me. My hair is below my shoulders and very thick, but the pin kept falling out. It wouldn't hold my hair at all. I tried every variation included with the package, but nothing worked. I've got other clips that work, but I wanted one that blended in with my hair. It wasn't the length or thickness of my hair, either, because it got it twirled up and the pin went through the full thickness of the twist. It just fell out as soon as I let go.

No Can Do
Like a previous reviewer, I just don't understand how this is supposed to work very effectively, because more often that not, it would fall out of my hair before I could cross the threshold of my bathroom. I have a lot of hair, so perhaps my locks are just too much and too heavy for this particular accessory. My mother in-law, who has much thinner hair than me, somehow works this into her styles on occasion.

My hair is almost half way down to my butt, and working in a restaurant, I have to keep my hair up all the time but a pony tail gets boring. I tried the spin clips for fun buns and such and loved it so I figured I'd give this a try. Not worth the money AT ALL. I can't even figure out how the stupid thing works and it yanks my hair like crazy. I haven't gotten it to hold in my hair and end up with just a sloppy looking...thing.
Not worth it.

Don't Bother
Wrapping my hair around my finger works better. Enough said.
