Great But Same As Solia
I used a Solia for years then it broke. I used a Paul Brown - nice but not hot enough sometimes. I just got the Ted Gibson. It's exactly the same as the Solia - I think the same manufacturer makes it. The temp setting is the same, the size and the plates. Only difference is the name "Ted Gibson." It works great --- but it works the same as the Solia. So if you want to save get the Solia. But this one is great too.

Great Straightener!
I love this flat iron. I bought this for myself around Christmastime, and it's just such a good tool. It does a great job straightening my thick wavy hair, also acting as a curling iron!! That's one of the main reasons I bought it. I love that it can do both. My hair is pretty hard to curl, but i don't even need hairspray with this. It heats up pretty quickly, and I love the adjustable heat setting. SUCH a great buy. Worth every penny! I'm so glad I got this over the GHD or Chi!!!!

This Iron Is Awesome! So Much Better Than The Chii
I was looking around for a flat iron for the longest time. Im the type of girl that wakes up in the morning, showers, and I want to finish makeup and hair fairly quickly. I decided to give this a whirl because of its wet to dry capability, along with having tourmaline plates (the chii did not have a wet to dry with tourmaline when I bought it...not sure if they do now). My hair comes out super soft! I have thick straw-ish hair so its nice to have the feature to go to a higher temp to get the kinks out. When I hop out of the shower, Ill towel dry my hair, put on my makeup, and by the time im done, my hair is damp...i straighten and im on my way out. None of this blow drying step.I really like the bumble and bumble straight. I dab a little bit on my hair and I have a nice shine going and additional softness. For those who like curly hair out there, I also use this iron to wave/curl my hair. The outside shell doesnt get very hot, so I can put my hands on the iron and clamp down, unlike the chii that burned my fingers. I hope you guys find this review helpful.

Good Product
I am pleased with the Ted Gibson Professional flat iron, however, i feel that the product is a bit high priced. I used to use a Chi, which is about $150.00 less expensive, and i think that the results are comparable, if not exacctly the same. I like that I can set the iron to different temperatures, and that my hair seems to stay healthier, but i feel that the chi works just as well for less expensive.
