GHD Gold Professional 1/2" Styler

I always wanted a GHD. I did so much research on them. The only thing stopping me from buying one was the price. The other day I went to TJ Maxx and guess what I found?! A GHD!!!! I was shocked because this was a very rare find. The price tag was a red clearance sticker for a total of $49. Is that a steal or what! So I purchased it right away. I did register it on the GHD website and it is 100% authentic. The only thing was that it has 1/2" plates; but my hair is 20 inches long. I guess the 1/2" plates are more for shorter hair. Anyhow, since it was only $49 I figured it will be worth taking my time to straighten my hair for 2 hours or so. Wrong! In my opinion, the 1/2" plates are soo much better than the 1" plates on any hot iron. It took me the same amount of time if not less to straighten all my hair. I was also able to get really close to my roots because of how thin the plates were. The 1/2" plates are a lot easier to maneuver because its not so bulky. I'm in love with my GHD! It's a great addition to my collection. Its my first choice because of the size of the plates. My second choice is my HANA and my third choice is my SOLIA. Over all, GHD is a great hot iron. My hair is silky and smooth to the touch. A little on the pricey side but if you do your homework and be patient, Folica has great deals. You can also get a great steal. :o)

I love this iron.. It's simply awesome.. If u have short hair please don't buy anything els this is it for u.. It gives u pro look.. For short hair..
