Miracle Flat Iron.
I spent hundreds of dollars at the salons so the stylists can make my hair smooth and shiny. I believed that only their flat iron could give me those results that was until I tried the Conair Pro shine flat iron. It's the best one I have ever used. It does not burn your hair, runs through smoothly and leaves your hair looking silky and shiny. Do not think twice when buying this it is AMAZING.

Frizz Machine
This is not the absolute worst hair straightener if you have relatively straight hair already, but if you have curly hair, I would not recommend it. It makes your hair a frizzy mess. I only wish my Solia hadn't gotten messed up after I had it for 7 years. This one has only lasted for about 1 year now. I am planning a trip to the salon to buy a new one.

Worst Hair Straightener I've Owned
This CHEAP hair straightener is probably the worst straightener I have ever owned. It burns the ends of my hair and take an hour to straighten my short hair. Its auto-off feature is very annoying. It will heat up completely in about 5 minutes and after you straighten your hair for maybe 2 minutes it has to heat up again. I would NEVER recommend this hair straightener to anyone... EVER. I used to have a hair straightener that had a tiny plate on it, so I went and found this cheaper one that i thought would be better. I got this one from Target or Kmart and i wish I could only find the Receipt. It makes my hair frizzy and after i straighten it i will brush it. Once I do that it is curly again.

Not So Great...
So I got this straightener about a year and a half ago, and it only lasted for like 2 months until I HAD to get a new one. It did make my hair very shiny and smooth, but it snagged my hair and it didnt heat up very well. I think the highest heat it could get too was about 350 or something. Plus I had to squeeze fairly hard to make my hair straighten. And it was even worse when I spent 2 hours on my hair, just for it to curl right back up in the humidity. All in all, I would not reccomend this to anyone and your better of spending at little bit more for a straightener that actually does something!

Pleasantly Surprised
I had a Solia for 6 yrs and it worked wonderfully untill I burned the cord :(
I was hoping to find something within my budget and this Pro Shine was it. I was very skeptical but I can't get over how shiny and straight my long hair turned out. It's not as smooth (the plates) as the Solia but it did not rip my hair either. The icing on the cake for me is that when it steams it does not smell like burnt hair, oh and also I don't have to fully blow dry my hair. I have coarse/wavy hair so I only blow dry for about ten minutes and let the Conair do the rest.
