This Curved Edge Flat Iron Rocks!!!!!!
I purchased this flat iron and I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!
My hair is color treated, very thick and naturally curly. Most days my hair looks frizzy. I wanted an iron to straighten AND curl. This iron does both!!!! Glides smoothly through my hair and puts the cutest flip curl on the ends. My hair has never looked or felt so smooth and silky.
If you are looking for the very best flat iron.....
BUY THIS ONE!!!!!!!
You won't regret it!!!

Andis Curved Edge Titanium Flat Iron 1 1/2
With the curved edges, the plates make it super easy to avoid crimping in the middle of a curl. How annoying is it when your trying to do a sleek wave and a big crease is on it? Not cute!
Some of the main positives I found with this straighter, is that is goes to a high heat height (450, in 30 seconds), it has a rotating swivel wire head so that your wire doesn't break after continuous use, it has finger guards for my finger tips, its lightweight so that your arm is burning after every curl or run through, and its inexpensive!
For the wear time on curls, its not the longest lasting. My curls were gone after 4 hours. With other higher priced flat irons, My curl stayed alot longer, sometimes even until the next day. I strongly believe that is because the flatr irons themselves didn't touch all the way at the center when you close them. They have a slight gap and knowing that hair is pretty thin, the gap is wide enough, to not have a tight, taunt grip to pull the strands straight.
The next thing I noticed that was a little negative on my end, was the it was labeled by 5,10, 15, and 20.
Being that it goes up to the heat height of 450 degrees, I have to guess what 5 means in comparison to the 450 degrees. I don't know about you, but having to add and subtract in order to find out what the real numbers are while doing your hair, is kind of a inconvenience to me.
Another negative according to me, is that the curved edge sides is a double edged sword. Yes it helps prevent grabbing the hair and creases, but I burned my forehead (left a mark) and side of head. Trust me you have to remember that the edges are curved or you will leave with some battle wounds. To me its too much of a inconvenience.
Overall, its DOES straighten your hair. I like that it warms up surprisingly fast and that the irons are titanium.
It does the job however, Im not trying to remember anything while doing my hair and math, is out of the question.
