Beautiful Straight Hair, But For A Price
I Have had the Amika for a while now and have decided to discontinue the use of it. When I first bought it i did notice that my hair was getting a bit better and starting to grow. But after a while the Iron started blackening even while I was cleansing it with the cleaning kit before and after every use, and before long it started to give off an awful smell. Whenever I used it before school or going out, i would just smell an overpowering scent!!! I took it to the mall to replace it and they told me I had to pay to get it replaced, and I had a Life-Time warranty and everything!!!!! What I recommend you do is go with the natural look for a while. Just keep taking care of it and making it look descent, with washing as regularly routine. Do this for a while and then press hair nd your hair will definately be longer. I did it and my hair has really grown!!!!

Love It!!! Flawlessly Straight And Frizz Free Hair In Minutes!
Just got mine tonight after having my hair done in the mall and I LOVE it!!! I have very curly and frizzy hair and any time I have ever had my hair straightened in past it almost immediately curled back and frizzed as soon as I stepped into the humidity. I've had chemical straightenings as well as having it blown straight and it was always a waste of money for me. I have considered the Japanese straightening treatment but could not afford to spend the $500-$1000 and 5 + hours for a treatment that only lasts approximately 6 months.
I would not normally spend so much money on a flat iron and I actually had no idea what they went for, but I got mine for $100 and already feel like it was money well spent. I left on a cool and humid night and drove home with the windows down and my hair still looked flawless and frizz free when I got home. I was also amazed at how easy it was to do. She literally only did one pull per each section of hair and it completely straightened it. Blowing my hair straight would take three times as long. I couldn't stop looking at myself the whole way home. I was just amazed at how straight it was. My husband was also pretty amazed and couldn't believe that it was just done with a flat iron and zero product. I love the Amika Styler and would highly recommend it!!!

Questiong But Otherwise I Loveeee It <3
well i really want the amika flat iron and i tried it at the mall and loved it! but then when i was done i noticed a little piece of hair that stuck out and then i read the other reviews and it said that happened to them, adn they said it broke there hair! which is not true, ive used the amika a lot and loved it. i think I'm getting it on Friday :) and i cant wait. although my hair is kinda short it may not curl very well. but i know it will straighten good! for sure. i wanna know if its really not doing any damage to ur hair and how it doesn't cause damage? but anyways i love this sooo much! it deff. works. i like how when u snap it shut it doesn't make the *click* noise like my babyliss pro. cuz it was a coating that is making ur straight hair and curly curl volumes and awesome! i love it so much, it is a deff buy!

Do Not Make Purchase!!!
I would not suggest buying this product! I used it on my Daughter 2 times to curl her hair, and Now her hair is totally different from what it used to be! She used to have some body to it, and now it is a flat as can be! She also complains every shower that her hair stinks ever since the guy at the mall did her hair! I Have used it on myself everyday since I bought it, and I don't notice a smell, but I do notice the difference in my hair, and its not a good difference! My hair is so snarly now, and feels so thin all the time, and I am losing more hair then I ever have! I have owned this for 1 1/2 wks now, and I will not use it anymore!! Do not buy this item if you want to keep the hair you have!!!! Hope this helps anyone trying to decide if they should spend the tons of money it costs!!

Great Flat Iron But Don't Use If You Want To Keep Your Natural Curls!
I have naturally curly hair and I absolutely loved this flat iron...until two months passed. When I normally washed my hair before using Amika, my hair always went back to it's naturally curly state. After using the Amika for a couple months my hair no longer curled. When I wash it there are barely any waves and I'm not sure what to do. I love my hair straight but I like to be able to go back and forth between natural curls and straight hair, and now I'm not able to do that anymore. I've been trying different shampoos and protein treatments but nothing has worked to bring back my curls. If you have any suggestions on what I can do if you're having the same problem please let me know, Thanks!

Big Time Disappointment !
I was excited to use it when I bought it, it turns out that after 2 months of use my hair has broken at the ends. I have little hair at the crown of my hair. It has turned out to be a nightmare and I have had to cut my shoulder length hair to just under my chin. I even have to wear it totally different because of the breakage. I am so disappointed I could sue. I want my hair and my money back!

Amazing
This is the best straightner in the world! I think anyway:) It used to take me 2 hours to straighten my hair and when i was done it was still pretty frizzy. I have extremly thick and frizzy/ Curly hair. When i use this straightner it not only takes me less than 30MINUETS, but it makes it extremly straight for two days!It also is so smooth people litterally come up to me and want to feel it.I would recomend this to anyone. I've now had it for a year and its done no damage to my hair. :) so definetly buy it.

You Can Acutally Get This For About 80
So I am a great person when it comes to finding sales. I don't pay more then 80 for anything and I bargined with the sales lady for a long time and bought the hot pink one for only 75. I like it but they old me it doesn't transfer heat to hair and when I went to straighten my hair this morning I burnt my hand on my hair pretty bad. Not too happy about that. It does work pretty good but she said i would only have to go over a spot once and It would be straight well... I have to go over certain spots a few times. It did cut my normal time straightening my hair by 5 mins but its still not as great as they bring it out to be.
