Provides Tight Not Beachy Curls
I have long, thick hair that holds curl very well, and I wanted to add a new tool to my arsenal of curling irons from 1" to 2" - I watched a handful of youtube videos and thought the Bubble Wand would add a nice beachy look. I'm an experienced curling iron user, so I thought the tool would not pose a challenge. Wrong. The small clip at the base of the wand only holds very small sections of hair - which works against my desire to use larger sections for a looser, beachier look.

The smaller sections of the bubble wand (in between the "bubbles") is very small and hair naturally wants to slip in between the bubbles to gravitate there - leading to very tight curls. I experimented with trying to wrap sections around the base freehand (like a curling wand), but my hair didn't want to rest securely over the bubbles.

The curls did hold well, but it didn't provide the beachy look I was seeking. This tool will probably go at the bottom of my hair tool bin.

Amazing Results!
I LOVE THIS CURLING IRON!!!! At last, a curling iron that actually delivers a natural looking curl/wave. This wand is easy to use, heats up quickly and provides perfectly gorgeous long lasting curls!!! I have already recommended it to friends and co-workers. Although it is pricey, it is well-worth the cost! I highly advise anyone with curling iron burnout to try this bubble wand; you will not be disappointed!

Return Asap
This is not worth the money. You have to use very thin strands of hair; it's impossible to get the ends curled, so the ends are stick straight and then thin spirals going up. It looks so ugly when i did a part of my hair. I'm returning this right away, and it's $100? Come on. I have very thick hair, and it takes me 10 minutes to curl with the straightening iron. This would proabably take me 1 hour to do and it looks ugly.
