Rsession Tools 4-in-1 Tapered Curling Iron

I ABSOLUTELY loved this curling/wavering iron. I purchase tons of stuff from Folica and this has to be one of my faves. I have really curly hair and I use this iron when I straighten it to get that girl next door wavy look. It does the job with ease. It does get some getting use to but once you have the hang of it, I'm sure it will be your go to iron. So why did I give it 3 stars? I purchased this from Folica sometime in February 2011 and I went to use it last month and well it was shorting out and refused to stay on :0(
I would have expected for it last longer than10 mths.

I dont know how many curling irons I had purchased and returned before finding this one....Its very easy to use and gives my hair just the right waves I was looking for.

I like this iron enough to overlook the flaws. I use it with the clamp. If I take off the clamp, screws will be exposed at the base that can snag my hair - this is the biggest flaw in my mind - those awful screws. I gently clamp a twisted end, then twist and wrap at the same time, as if I were using a curling wand, and get good results with loose waves and no clamp marks - the clamp is very loose. It looks best if I already have smooth ends since it doesn't curl the ends much. I don't have layers, that might be frustrating with this iron.

It takes a little more patience than a clipless curler. I don't like the guide, I haven't found a way to use it without having it leave marks in my hair. Also, beware the loose temperature dial. This gets hot and the dial works to change the temperature, but it will move on you if you aren't careful. Bottom line: innovative appliance with obvious flaws, may require some trial and error.

I purchased this iron to use on my daughters hair.. although her hair is curly we sometimes like to style it differently. I took some practice, but I was totally in love with the look it achieved. It does get plenty hot so make sure the heat setting is appropriate for your hair, you don't want to cinch it. Other than that great product to own. Thanks Folica once again for carrying all my favorite beauty products!!!

LOVE this curling iron. After reading several reviews, I decided to purchase this tool and don't regret it. It's quick and easy and makes amazing wavy curls unlike any other curling iron I've tried. I took the black curling guide off (like many reviews suggested). This is a must have!!!

This is a great curling iron for those wavy beach waves. I have tried another popular type but could never get it to work; the waves always looked awful and just made weird kinks in my hair. This one has a clamp and helped keep the hair in place. it heats up fast and the curls kept great. My hair is hard to curl and I was impressed how long they last.
