T3 Source Showerhead

Received this as a graduation gift. I love T3, but unfortunately I didn't notice a difference in my hair using this showerhead. It is a nice showerhead, but didn't do what I hope it would have for my hair!

The water where I currently live leaves my hair coarse, brittle, dull, and difficult to manage. On the other hand, when I visit my childhood home or travel, one of the things to which I look forward the most is showering, as the water elsewhere gives me a completely different, vastly superior head of hair. I received this showerhead as a Christmas gift and was excited to try it, hoping it would resolve my issues with the water in my home city. If anything, however, this showerhead has somehow rendered my hair worse than ever! It hangs in clumps that resist brushing and styling; it's difficult even to run my fingers through my hair, and when I do, a few strands pull out or break off each time!

In addition to the negative effects on my hair, this showerhead lessens the water pressure, and I don't really like any of the spray patterns. (Some of the spray patterns are just downright useless.) Also, although some people may not have an issue with this, I could do without the purple "jewel" set in the dial. It looks cheap and childish and is very much out of place among the decor in an adult's bathroom.

I would readily return this item if I could, but unfortunately, I wasn't given the packing slip with the gift.

I have long, thick, highlighted hair. I am always trying salon shampoos/conditioners to make me hair look better. After reading the description of what the water filtration removes from tap water it made sense that maybe I needed to think "beyond" my hair's need for different hair products, makes sense that if my water contains chlorine, along with other contaminates that has to affect my hair. I have noticed a different softer feel in just 3 days, less tangles, and my skin is not itchy as it usual is after a shower.I shower everyday and use hot, hot water. It is a large shower head and had no problems installing. So far I am very happy with the purchase. Will be interested in finding out if my hairdresser who always states I must have "hard" water when she highlights my hair notices a difference too!
