Not Too Happy
I just bought these new set of rollers, cause my old ones just stop working (remington). I thought I could try something different and I was not too satisfied. These rollers are not enough, they are too thick....I like the thick curl, but these just provided volume to my hair, it didn't curl it. In comparison to the remington rollers, the other set has 24 rollers, different sizes, and the clip it's easier to use.

Great Tool!
I love this hot rollers; however 12 rollers are not enough. Does anyone know where I can find few extra of those Super Jumbo rollers?

Thanks in advance.

Took Some Practice . . . And Extra Clips
If youâ??re frustrated with these rollers and want to return them, or just plain chuck them out the window, donâ??t despair - Iâ??ve had this set for over a year and Iâ??m just now coming to appreciate them. After several attempts, I have finally figured out how to turn my long, naturally curly hair into â??Victoriaâ??s Secret modelâ?? hair, full of volume and soft, bouncy curls that last for hours, even in warm, super humid weather. Because it took me so long to get it right, I felt I should write a review to help other ladies who may be struggling. So, hereâ??s the skinny.

Allow rollers to heat up for 20 â?? 30 minutes, with the lid closed.
Hold the section youâ??re rolling as tightly as possible.
Use the included metal pin AND a plastic butterfly hot roller clip (sold separately) to secure the roller in place ~ one or the other doesnâ??t cut it. Trust me, Iâ??ve tried! (Conair couldâ??ve earned themselves a five star review if theyâ??d included the butterfly clips. Iâ??d happily have paid an extra $10 or $15.)
Leave the rollers in your hair until they have cooled COMPLETELY. I typically leave them in place for 1 â?? 1 ½ hours. (I only use hot rollers for special occasions or if I happen to have a LOT of time on my hands, for obvious reasons.)

Also worth mentioning . . . if you have naturally curly hair, gently smooth our your hair using a blow dryer & paddle brush, or even just combing your hair with your fingers as you blow dry. I need to leave a bit of my natural texture in my hair in order for the hot roller curls to last. If I do a blow dryer & round brush â??blow outâ?? prior to using the rollers, my curls will fall out within an hour due to the hair being too smooth.

I hope others will find these tips helpful.

Not Hot
Curlers were not hot enough to do anything and the clips would not hold the curlers in. I have an 'antique' set of hot curlers that work way better...if only they had bigger curlers in the set :o( Returning ASAP.

Heat Rollers
I ordered these Conair super sized rollers to get a larger, softer curl, which they did do a good job of producing. However, there were a couple things about the curlers that I didn't like and so I decided to return them. There are two large sizes of rollers and two sizes of pins, but the pins are not color coded or anything so I did a lot of fumbling with the pins to find the right size while trying to hold a hot roller on my head with the other hand. When I used the wrong pin, a larger pin on the smaller curler, the curler fell out and I spent some time trying to push a smaller pin onto the larger size curler. I suppose I could have sorted the pins in the first place and that would have solved the proble, but I didn't know I would have to do that and it made for a frustrating experience. Also, there is no place to store the pins in the roller box so that would be a problem when traveling with it. There is a red light that shows that the curlers are turned on, but no indication of when they are "ready." In all, I thought the old Conair set I had with a few large rollers was still good enough to do about the same job that this one did. Also, the rollers got very hot and the plastic ends to grab them with were not wide enough to keep from burning my fingers. They did seem to heat up very quickly, though as I said, there wasn't any way to know when they were actually ready to use. This is a good product, just didn't meet my expectations at the time.

:( Only Okay
I have really thick and long hair. I usually blow dry it straight before I curl it since I have a natural body wave, but I have a LOT of volume. I liked the size of these rollers but the clips did NOT hold them on my head. I feel that if Conair included the butterfly clips, the rollers would have held tighter on my head to get me the type of look I was going for. I did get some volume and some body, but I did have to tease. My mom even tried them and the metal clips did squat to hold in her hair too. Her hair is fine as a baby's and way shorter than mine. I'll be returning and getting the Babyliss.

Works Great
I love conair's hot rollers.. my mom has this set & I haven't tried them, yet but I have a set of the purple jumbo rollers and a set of the blue assorted size rollers and both work wonderfully, still, and I've had them since 2006. the only thing that I really don't like about conair's hot rollers are the metal clips that come with them because even though I've mastered the technique of putting them in so they'll stay, everytime, I feel like it's bad for my scalp and I really don't wanna go bald one day because of it, so I wish it had come with butterfly clips.
