Cortex Insulate Heat and UV Protector

LOVE this product, but HATE that it is out of stock!!

I have been using this product for about a year and wont do my hair without it. I have naturally thick curly hair and it gives my hair a nice shine without a greasy look or feel. I love this product.

I have only used the product once using my flat iron and it made my hair so soft and shiny!

It does the job, but nothing special. I tried this product since it was a bit cheaper than the other heat protectants even though I tend to lean more toward natural products. It smells a little more on the chemically side to me, and the results of my flat ironing using this product was just okay. I have very thick and curly hair naturally, and alternate between flat ironing and wearing it natural. My routine for flat ironing is to air dry wearing braids or a bun with a little argan oil in. After my hair is dry, usually at the end of the day I flat iron with whatever heat protectant I have on hand. This product leaves my hair feeling a little dry and it doesn't get quite smooth or flat enough after flat ironing if I don't add anything else. I prefer oil based products for my hair like the kendi bamboo dry oil (leaves my hair softer and smoother).

it works really well. especially when i am curling my hair. it makes my curls look really good and dosnt make my hair greasy. it smells good too.

I used this today while I was blow drying. I sprayed 2 spritz into my palm and half of my hair. Its super light weight and absorbs/coats hair very well. I would give it 5 stars but I want to give it some more time. But so far, so good.

I can't live without this product. This is the only heat protection I use and I have tried everything.

Maybe even better than the salon! It smells like I just left the salon as well.

This product is wonderful. I'm a product junkie so I have tried a lot of serums, sprays, and creams on my hair in my quest to keep my hair from drying out without weighing it down while protecting it from high heat at the same time. This left my hair feeling incredibly soft. In addition to that it was shiny, healthy-looking, and smoother. This is a great flat iron companion. I use a bit before blow drying my hair and a bit more before flat ironing. It's very lightweight and there's no need to use a lot to get great results.

I use this spray before anything hot touches my hair. It is wonderful!! After several days of using it I noticed a difference in my hair, it looked healthier. I thought it might weigh down my hair but to my surprise it did not. A little goes a long way with this spray, I lightly misted my hair and got great results. I did over do it once and it made my hair greasy looking. It can be used on wet or dry hair which was nice when I was in a rush. I LOVED the way it smelled, similar to baby powder. I am going to buy one for my roommate so she will stop stealing mine!!
