Personna Double Edge Blades

Work great to get a clean cut on cork and other materials used in woodwind repair. Break them in half. These are used by many of the manufacturers of high end instruments.

These double edged blades are getting increasingly hard to find in the drug and food stores. But there are a few razor companies, like Merkur, producing really good razors that use them. Also, bought in quantity like this, they are quite inexpensive, even when compared to the drugstore price for the same blades and certainly when compared to the price of the more modern blades. I usually get a weeks worth of shaves from one blade. I prefer these blades to the modern, multi-blade "cassette" blades for a couple of reasons. I think that they shave just as closely as the newest thing, but that may be a subjective impression. Regardless, the closeness is quite adequate to keep me looking clean shaven throughout the day, and I know that I dont nick myself anywhere near as frequently with these "low tech" blades. Also, as pointed out above, they are very much less expensive than the latest rage on a per unit and probably on a per shave basis. Finally, these blades and the razors that use them take a little concentration to achieve a good shave. There is a little skill involved in their use (although nowhere near what it takes to master a straight razor, which I never managed). That makes the daily routine just a little more interesting.

Iam very happy using this personna double edge blades. In Québec it is very difficult to find that product.It will be a good idea to advertise your product in Québec to say that it is easy to buy it by internet. It was just a luck that I foud it in internet.I am sure many people are still using double edge blades.
