Nioxin System 7 Cleanser for Medium/Coarse Hair

I have been using the nixion system on my several of my clients for about 4 years. It has really been a great tool for helping me to achieve a heathier head of hair for my clients. I strongly recommend this for women with thinning hair and any women taking several medications.

The first thing I noticed about this cleanser is the smell. It stinks. Of course, this is my opinion but I just couldn't get past it. I actually used the whole system and I really didn't notice a difference in my hair. I would normally try a product more than once but I honestly do not want to use it again because of the smell. Beware if you care what your hair products smell like...

horrible! I have color treated hair that is thin. I used nioxin #8 for 4 months. I know they say increase in hair shedding is common the first 2 weeks, but my hair shedding got worse and continued for months. now my hair appears to be even more thin. and to make matters worse it made my hair so dry! there is no shine and my hair is dull dry and thin. as soon as i stoppeed it and used another brand of hair product, my hair instantly looked better. THis is the 2nd time I gave nioxin a chance, but my hair just looks awful right now, worse than when i first started. I am so dissapointed and now I have to try and get some moisture back in to my hair..

Absolutely yes I recommend this shampoo. See my post re: the conditioner (scalp therapy) as well. My hair has not been this healthy in years. I have had some major disasters with regard to hair, chemical treatments, color, etc... in the year that I have used this product line, my hair is the picture of health. Other formulations of this product in the line (system 3, system 5) are not as effective for non-chemically treated hair. If my hair were fine or not chemically treated I would definitely try them based on the performance of this product. You will NOT be disappointed! Folicas price is excellent, too, as this item is hard to find and typically marked way up in retail!

My hair was an absolute disaster and Ive tried nearly every product out there, but Nioxin saved my hair! My hair grows about an inch per month and it has not looked this good or felt this food since high school. I would definitely recommend this product for women concerned with overall hair health and protecting your color at the same time.
