Stopped Working After A Single Use
Sparked and died. I thought it was a single case but it turns out it happens a lot with this product. I love the look of it, and the size, packed it for a holiday, plugged it in and 5 minutes later there was smoke and the smell of burning plastic.

Two thumbs down.

Additional Information From Previous Post
You may ask yourselves why I didn't purchase the Sedu travel dryer... The wattage was the same as the Babyliss and i didn't want to spend $80 on something that will not work once I return from Spain.. Simple as that...

Great Hair Dryer But Be Aware.....
I bought this hair dryer because I am going to Spain in July and everyone has told me that I needed to buy a cheap travel dryer because upon returning back to the US from Europe my hair dryer will stop working... Given that I own 2, yes 2, Sedu Revolution 4000i (pink and black, pink for home and the black one for travel) I have very high expectations and I am not about to burn out a $160 hair dryer... First, I will say the Babyliss is extremely small and light. Perfect for travelling. The part that I find somewhat deceiving is that it says BaByliss ProTT Tourmaline Titanium 1500 Compact Dryer, but it's really 1200 watts. My Sedu is 1875 watts. Having said that, I tried the Babyliss yesterday for the first time. I have very short, thick, curly Latina hair that I get relaxed every 3 months. Think of Shakira's hair type but a short haircut like Suze Orman. I just got my hair relaxed last week so I figured it was a good time to try it. I am going to Cancun for a long weekend this weekend so I want to take it with me. I will say that it's not as hot or as powerful as my Sedu and what usually takes me 10 minutes to do took me 15 minutes. The results were very good. You need to understand that I do not blow dry my hair with my fingers, I use 3 different size ceramic brushes to get the job done...yes, even relaxed. Bottom line, it did the job for me, BUT, if you have long, extremely curly or thick hair that is NOT relaxed and you want it really straight, it will be a challenge and you should consider something with more power... For me, if I get to use it this weekend and again in July then I have gotten my $35 worth....

Great Travel Dryer...if It Had Kept Working
This was a great little travel dryer - very powerful for its size and lightweight. However, mine quit working about 1/2 way through a 5-week trip to Europe, and I had only used it about 10 times. I was disappointed since there was only a 1-year warranty, so Conair won't replace or repair it. I was using it with a good quality plug converter, so I'm not sure if that caused the problem or if it just overheated (it does get very hot). I would still recommend this dryer, but maybe not for International travel.

Shuts Off After A Few Minutes.
My hair takes about 7minutes to dry when damp with my regular dryer. After the rave reviews I expected a fairly decent dryer. This one shuts off after only 4-5 minutes to cool down. I used it for two weeks and put it away for more than a year, forgetting about this shut down issue. I just tried it again when going out of town and after 5 minutes it turns off to cool down.

Very inconvenient.

Not For 220v
I used to love this hair dryer, it´s light, and powerful enough for my hair. Everything was great, until I used it for a trip to Europe, It worked fine the first time, but it got hotter, I turned in off and finished the job with the hotel dryer. Once back home it didnât work anymore, no signs of life! Now I´m looking for a new one, that actually works with 220VAC

Great Little Dryer With Lots Of Power
This dryer is nice and very strong at the same time. Love it. Just one thing, buyers beware when you are buying from Canada as I had to pay and extra $16. duty!

Small & Cute But Not Powerful
It's a great size for traveling and looks super cute, however, it is only 1000W and is not powerful at all for a Pro hairdryer. I returned mine as I needed something stronger. The portability is great though.

Powerful And Lightweight
I was looking for a lightweight hair dryer b/c my arms got so tired of holding my large, Conair dryer. I've kept the big one because it still works fine, and I've only used the BaByliss once, so far. However, I really like it. It's exactly what I was looking for--the same power, but lighter weight.
