Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo 8.45 oz.

I am always in search of a great product for my naturally curly/frizzy hair. When I read the reviews for Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner, I didnt hesitate to order two bottles of the shampoo and one jar of the conditioner. I was terribly disappointed in the results. I saw no marked improvement in the shape of my hair after using it. In fact, my hair came out dull with absolutely no shine. I depend on customer reviews when buying products, but rarely write them myself. Since I have decided to return these products -- a first for items ordered through Folica -- I thought it was only fair to share my thoughts.

This Shampoo and Conditioner combination is called Love, and the feeling is definitely mutual. I have naturally curly hair coming out of the shower, but this turns the curliness into natural waves or loose curls (otherwise theyd be ringlets. its weird) that I can either straighten super easily, or leave it alone. Not only that, it makes my hair super soft and keeps if from drying too much!

Im bi-racial. As a little girl, my mother resorted to cutting all off my long curly hair after the bristle pads of several brushes came off in my hair. Ive struggled with my course hair since Ive been able to style it on my own. Ive tried all of the popular salon products and store brand products. Davines has been my own personal miracle. Im so glad I was referred to this product. Im able to comb right through my long wet hair after only a few strokes. My hair is super glossy after it air dries and Ive even wore it naturally curly for the first time ever after using Davines. Im so glad Folica added it to their line-up. Its a dot cheaper on the site than in a salon as well.

This is by far the most amazing shampoo I have ever used. With todays styles--all about having straight smooth hair--this product by far exceeds my expectations. It smells wonderful, and leaves hair smooth and much easier to manage. I have experienced dry hair due to having to straight-iron almost every day; this is the only shampoo which helps to keep my hair healthy--while not drying out my scalp. Couple this shampoo with the LOVE conditioner; and your hair will feel better than it ever has! Dont let the odd name "Love" fool you. It is a professional product for sure.
