Aveda Light Elements Defining Whip 4.1 oz.

I live in a hot and humid place and have extremely thick, wavy hair. I like to curl it in the least amount of time possible and also get the beach-y look. This stuff is great! I just add it to damp hair and let air dry...and add some argon oil after it dries a little.

Not my favorite. I've had this for over a year. I use it to define and give pieciness when I straighten my hair. It seems to leave it really dull, and all the shine I love with having straight hair is gone. Seems to have a tiny bit of hold to it though. I've also used it to scrunch out the crunch on my wavy-curly hair, and again I can't say it did much but coat my hair and leave a dullness and coated feeling to it.

I've heard it may work better on wet hair for definition, so I'm going to try that next. This product would work really well on short hair for a spiking effect.
