Smooth N' Shine Keratin Power Hair Tamer Kit - Regular

This product was advertised as washing out after 5 washes. What it doesn't say is that it has the same ingredients as a relaxer. I put this stuff on my 4a hair thinking I would be able to wear it straight for a few days longer but now my hair wont revert back. I will have to big chop again after three years of being natural and to top it off the company refuses to acknowledge my complaint. I've used other temporary treatments that truly do wash out....this was not one of them. Unless you want to put a mild relaxer in your hair, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

I am biracial and have wild thick curly locks .. i used this for the first time 3 days agao and i was amazed how easy my hair went straight . I had lots of shine and body in my hair ... I also tried my my daughter who is going to middle school next year .. she has been baggin me to go straight .. i refuse to rlax her hair so i tried this oon her yesterday and i was awesome on her hair also .. and her hair is much more course then my mine ,,,, if it were not for the smell i would give 5 stars

I like this this treatment and would have given it 4 stars but my ends are very hard before I flat iron my hair. After my hair is flat ironed, it is soft and easy to manage. It still gets puffy when I'm in the heat, but I live in LA...it's not a miracle treatment. LOL! This is not going to give you salon results, but it wil hiu

As a Bzz Agent, I received this product and held on to it for a couple of weeks. It was almost relaxer touch up time and I have been toying with the idea of going natural for a couple of years now. Just can't bring myself to do. Though the product is said to be much gentler than a relaxer, the chemical smell was horrible. I enlisted the help of a friend and used the product according to the instructions. There was an additional package of conditioner in the box with no instruction on how or when to use it. We skipped using the conditioner. After washing, then the product is applied ( brace yourself for the smell) , rinse well , then apply the neutralizing milk , rince well. Now you are ready for blow drying and styling ( with a flat iron). My hair was straight, ( but not bone straight) and beautiful. I received compliments the next day and no one believed that I didnt get a traditional relaxer . I'm in the process of waiting for the next 4 - 6 washes to see what lasting effects it has on my hair.
