Best On Fried, Dried (compared To More Expensive Products)
I'm a mixed race female with naturally soft, tight spiraled hair. My problem is, it frizzy badly in humid weather. I'd been coloring and using a gel perm at home for the past few years with good results. I recently had a perm disaster. I lost track of time and over processed my hair. It was dry, rough, and porous. I tried having a couple of inches cut off, but it wasn't enough and the hair that was left was also fried. When I ran my fingers through it, it felt like straw. The ends were worse and bushed up within a week of the hair cut. I bought EVERYTHING. Kerestase, Matrix, It's a 10, protein packs, and 2 plastic shopping bags from salon shelves. I also used them with a heated conditioning cap. Redken Extreme gave me the best results. I left it on for about an hour. Probably 45 mins. under the heat cap. My hair was softer and shinier than with any of the other products. It felt the closest to normal hair. My finger could glide through it, but the ends needed trimming. Although I can still tell where the the damage is, my cuts look and feel better longer.

If you have really damaged hair, try this before you spend a lot of money on other stuff. It isn't as expensive as a lot of the other things I tried. If it doesn't work for you, it won't cost you a fortune. This will at least allow me to keep the hair I have while I let the damage grow out, and I won't be afraid that someone else might touch it. I've also switched to wash out color, and I ALWAYS use Infusium moisturizing, leave-in.

Dont Use!
I was told by hairdressers to use this after I had my hair lightened but after using it I noticed my hair was dry and brittle. After more usage I noticed my hair was getting worse!! My hair is now more damaged than when I initially got it lightened.

This Stuff Is Great!
I am mixed black and white and I just bought a sedu which works great for me so I have been straightening my hair...a lot. I get my hair trimmed every six weeks, but after straightening my hair for four weeks straight I realized my hair was not going to make it that long. I went to a beauty brands store nearby and one of the sales associated gave me this. I put it on in the shower, put on a shower cap and rinsed it out when I was finished. When my hair dried it was so soft and shiny! My curls were even more defined and I didnt even use hair gel. I would recommend this to anyone looking for good hair repair. PS this is also pretty easy to rinse out unlike some of the thicker deep hair treatments.

Amazing!
I use this product about once a month. It really helps my hair breakage. I notice the differenec after I use it. the bottle does say leave in for 15 min and then wash out but I put it in for 30 min and after I wash it my hair feels really silky. I do have curly hair so Im guessing it works for all hair types. :P

This Stuff Rocks!
I have extremely dry/coarse unruly chemically treated hair loaded with knots and this stuff really did come to my rescue!!! I used it immediately after I chemically straightened my hair and it made the hair shaft feel moisturised. My hair was easier to manage too. You dont need much of it. I have thick waist length hair and 3-4 tablespoons is more than sufficient. Its not badly priced either so its worth a try if youre looking for an excellent hair-fix.

Wonderful Product
I have extremely dry brittle ruly hair with the worst split ends (even though I get regular trims) This made my hair feel sooo good. It was moisturized, full looking, and my split ends were less noticeable. Redkens products are amazing and the Exteme line is perfect for my hair. I would recommend this to anyone who needs extra hair care!

If You're Looking... You Probably Need It!
I have mixed hair (blk, wht, hisp), and for unknown reasons a lot of my hair was falling out and breaking easily. I’m not talking about being bald or anything but I was freak’n out none the less. Anyways, I bought Redken Extreme shampoo, conditioner, rescue force conditioner, and anti-snap leave-in. I also bought Sedu smoothing heat protecting booster. In the last few weeks I have noticed my hair feeling stronger/healthier and less frizzy, I noticed a lot less hair going down the drain, and all of these products smell really nice. I’m taking the time to actually write a customer review. I’m not saying your hair will magically be better then ever, but it really won’t hurt to at least try this product.
