Kerastase Resistance Ciment Anti-Usure

This was recommended by my colorist and hairdresser for my fine textured hair which is both colored and highlighted. It is supposed to strengthen the hair from the inside as well as moisturize and smooth without weighing the hair down or causing it to be oily. It works very well and the condition of my hair is very healthy, shiny and full of body since I have been using it. I bought it at the hair salon and loved it so much that I ordered the largest size available from folica.com and for a great price!

Folica's Ciment Anti-Usure in different packaging is very misleading because it is not the same product. I normally buy the Ciment Anti-Usure in the tube - but wasn't on Folica's product list on line. Bought what they did sell, and didn't think it would be different from the tube. Same name, s/b exact same product only different packaging - right? ...Wrong! not only so different but it was thinner, sticky and horrible end-result. Normally, my hair with tube product is left soft,silky & manageable; Folica's product left my hair wiry, dry and frizzy. Why should this happen? if the product is same name but different packaging, it s/b the same product inside the packaging. Is this the same product - I don't think so...the Ciment Anti-Usure in the tube is the real deal. Let me know when you get the real product. Very disillused.

If you have dry, over-processed, brittle hair then this is the conditioner/mask for you. I have relaxed, colored AND keratin-processed hair. It breaks often. HOWEVER, I used this conditioner bought the large size and breakage indeed stopped. I ran out and used other things but I just bought my second large bottle and vow to use this and only this. I like that you do not need to use any heat, drop any eggs on your hair, etc. The only drawback is that Folica does not include a pump and you have to be careful not to pour too much. Otherwise I woulda given it 5 stars.

yay kerastase! or should we really say yay loreal!? for years i tried to shy away from beauty products made by the big 4 ie, today's 4 largest cosmetic manufacturer's. my hair finally got the best of my "don't support the big industry guys" ideals, and boy am i glad i gave in. i have been using the kerastase line now for about 8 weeks, and am surprisingly happy with the improvements i've seen and felt. my hair is long and straight - all one length and sits justs below my bra-strap. while it has a fine texture, it also quite thick, and can feel very hot when i wear it down in the summer. who really likes that sweaty stick to your neck look anyway?
kerastase has been a godsend. so far i've used the bain de force shampoo and the ciment anti-usure conditioner. my hair has become stronger, and just flat out pretty to look at - or so says my husband and the folks i interact with, and well, me too. i actually have had complete strangers ask to touch it in the elevator(!) more than once, and not in that weird sort of stalker way either, but by what appear to be pretty normal people. i think the kerastase line is acheiving the look women internally crave. its that "oh my goodness! see the model in the magazine? can i somehow make my hair look like that? and oh by the way? please don't make me pay a real fortune to get this look!" yes, the cost for these products is not per say cheap, but the results make the cost more than reasonable - not justifyinf here, just stating fact. if you ask me, that is :) and i do readily admit to spending too much money over the years trying to make my hair look amazing, and have wound up spending too much and looking only marginally great. do yourself a favor and really work with these products. you won't be sorry.

I colored my hair myself...big mistake. The next day my hair was breaking and looked like a worn out carpet - Fuzz city! I went to my regular hair dresser and had to confess that I had done this to my self. She had me use Kerastase shampoo, conditioner and a glaze. My hair began to immediatly repair itself. It is an awsome product and truly worth every penny.

My hair feels much softer, controlled, less frizzy and doesnt break. After the third time using it I ran to my friend exclaiming, "Feel my hair!" I was so excited because for as long as I can remember, my hair has been very unruly and highly prone to breaking and getting tangled. I tried to solve the problem with leave-in conditioner because I thought it was a hydration issue. However, I now know part of the real issue--it was damaged and needed the strenghtening (of this product!). I gave this product four stars instead of five because I havent used any other products of similar nature, so I have nothing to compare it to. By the way, the more I use it, the stronger, shinier, and more controlled my hair becomes. However, my hair still isnt perfect, but I think that that is too high a standard. Im happy with this.
