CHI Nourish Intense Silk Masque for Coarse Hair

I absolutely love this hair masque, it exceeded my expectations! I am a big fan of hair masques any way and when i found this on and it was on sale....for a great price...so I said well i can't go wrong with this one. i tried it and it left my hair with incredible bounce after I flat ironed it, and being an African-American female I was really impressed. After shampooing with the regular chi shampoo in the gray and red bottle I apply the hair masque and cover my head for about 1hour. I love the smell it leaves in my hair also...it doesn't do much for helping my hair not to shed though, that's the only thing I don't like. I also wish it came in a bigger bottle!

one of my HG conditioners. I use this in conjunction with redkens smooth down conditioner, I get the best results when I do! Its a very thick creamy conditioner, so you really dont need that much which is great cause it lasts. You can feel how smooth it is rinsing out of your hair! I have thick wavy/curly hair which I often straighten, that is when I get the best results!

Ive seen such wonderful reviews about CHI products, so I decided to give the line a shot. My hair is in fair condition to begin with... thick, coarse, dry, color treated, and in need some T.L.C. I must admit, my expectations were a bit high for the product to do what it says on the label, but it just did not deliver. I left the masque on for 15 mins and as soon as I rinsed it out it felt like i just got done shampooing. Didnt feel mositurized or soft... and no noticable improvement in the condition of my hair. Im sticking with T.I.G.I. hair line from now on!

I guess its a hair individualized experience. I have dry hair damaged by hair dyeing. This did nothing. It might as well have said for normal healthy hair. Redken Extreme and All Soft and Suaves knock off of Extreme actually hydrated better. CHIs red bottle line - actually hydrates better than this stuff - it left my hair really dry and did not untangle my hair. Try CHI red/gray bottle or redken all soft and extreme - they all work better than this stuff

This stuff is awesome! I use the nourish intense shampoo and mask, and I also use the silk infusion and keratin mist. I have NEVER used andy products like these in my life! I have very dry and coarse hair, and if it works for me, I know it can work wonders for anyone else! I will stick with this product forever! I have never received so many compliments on how beautiful my hair is! It is shiny and has so much body! I can comb it while it is wet, and there is mimimal shedding. This is my miracle product, please do not stop making it!

This stuff actually did leave my hair feeling good. We have hard water here and my hair normally feels like straw when im done washing and conditioning but this time I washed it with the CHI nourish silk shampoo silk bath and used this conditioner and my hair felt great and I had minimal shedding when I blowed it dry. Then I used the CHI silk infusion and my hair was so soft and shiny!
