CHI Ionic Color Protector Leave-In Treatment Masque

I absolutely can't stand the CHI ionic color protecting shampoo, conditioner, or the treatment.
I am 18 years old and I color my hair dark brown about every 8 weeks. I am naturally blonde, so I have tried to find a hair product that would preserve my color as long as possible. I was so excited when i purchased this line because I've had amazing experiences with CHI in the past, but this was A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. The shampoo is as runny as water, and gives you no lather whatsoever. I understand that it is sulfate free, yet i've used other sulfate free shampoos that still lather nicely. the conditioner is thick, sticky, and weighs my hair down immensely. It leaves my hair feeling GRIMY AND GREASY, as if i hadn't washed my hair in a few days. Ever since I started using these products, my usually soft, shiny, manageable hair has become a huge hassle. And not only does it leave the texture of my hair feeling disgusting, my hair color seemed to fade FASTER after using this. What a disappointing waste of my money. Recently, I switched to pureology hydrate system, and it is AMAZING. i can't say enough about it. I would highly reccomend it... NOT CHI!!!!!

I WAS USING A LEAVE IN CONDITIONER SOLD BY A SALON. MY HAIR STYLIST RECOMMENDS USING A MASQUE AS WELL. I DECIDED TO GIVE THIS PRODUCT A TRY. I AM GLAD I DID. I ONLY USE A SMALL AMOUNT ABOUT 25-50 CENTS WORTH. THIS PRODUCT LEFT MY HAIR SOFT AND SHINY AND BOUNCY. I NOW OMIT THE LEAVE IN CONDITIONER YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED. MY HAIR IS CURLY, BUT I BLOW DRY THEN FLAT IRON TO VERY STRAIGHT. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU MAKE A DECISION.

I love this product and will recommend it to everyone!!! Leaves your hair soft and smelling great. My daughters and I cannot say enough about this leave-in treatment and we have tried almost every product out there on the market.

Bought this product love the smell. However this product leaves my hair crispy stiff and dull. I paid too much for this and it just sits on my bathroom counter. Another shopping regret! Have reverted back to my cheap Garnier fruictus or whatever its called and it is a vast difference, leaves my hair soft and smooth...go Garnier!

I absolutly love this stuff. I bought it on discount just to try it. But now I would have paid full price. I just wish it wasnt out of stock.

Very good product but I would suggest having it in a larger mouth deeper jar so that I can get my wide tooth comb into the product so that it is easier to apply to my hair. Feels good and detangles the just washed hair.
