Amazingly Perfect
At first I was skeptical because as I read the reviews it said it made your hair greesy, however I believe these people are mistaking the geesy feeling its supposed to be there. If you think about it when you go to the beach your hair becomes wavy, messy, air blown, and a little greesy which is what the product is supposed to do! The greesiness is not bad at all, its not a bad type or anything, very natural and not alot at all! I hate greesy hair! Anyways, my hair is naturally wavy/straight and this product made it so wavy and windblown! Also, the smell is like coconuts, which is great! Overall, I am now addicted!

Awesome Stuff
This spray is really great! I have coarse curly/wavy hair and it works pretty good on me. I put it on while my hair is still wet and let it air dry. The result: intensified curls and frizz-free hair!

Would Not Recommend This Product
I had heard great things about the Sally Hershberger Wave Spray and bought it with high expectations. I was very disappointed. Not only did it make my hair go very flat, but a few sprays made it so greasy that my hair looked like it was wet even after I had dried and styled it. I followed the instructions on the bottle and tried it again the next day but got the same results. I returned the product and received a full refund. I would not recommend this product.

Good Replacement For John Frieda Ocean Waves Spray
I've been looking for a good replacement since they discontinued the John Frieda Ocean Waves Spray a couple of years ago. I tried the Sedu Beach Beauty Spray (a recommended alternative), but didn't like it. The Sally Hershberger Wave line is sold in a lot of stores, but I've never see the wave spray before. I've used it a couple of times now and have been happy with the results. It's fairly close to the results I used to get with Ocean Waves, except it doesn't smell as good. I recommend watching the youtube video in the Product Details tab on this page, so you can see the way that Sally Hershberger intended for the spray to be used.
