Nexxus Headress Thickening Leave-In Volumizer

I wanted the Nexxus Headress Weightless Leave-In Conditioner as listed and got the thickening leave-in volumizer which is horrible for my thick, coarse hair. Now I have to return it - at least I know never to buy from this site again!

I have fine relaxed hair. I was desperately looking for a light weight leave in conditioner. Everything I tried,no matter how little weighed my hair down and made my strands stick together. I'm a product junkie so I've tried many things. I was getting pretty depressed because nothing was working. Well, I went through my closet looking for something else and stumbled on this. I washed with Nexxus Therepee shampoo and deep condition for 20 mins with Nexxus Humectress. I have the older version of everything. After rinsing,I put a dime size of Headress in my palm. While my hair was damp I felt my hair getting softer. I blow dried on low heat,and then I used a heat protectant to flat iron. My hair looked amazing. My curls held better and were real bouncy. My hair felt nice and soft,but also strong. My hair felt moisturized and it even looked thicker. After trying coconut oil(hair was too oily and flat),castro oil(still too oily),Avalon Humectress leave in(liked,but couldn't hold curls), I didn't think there was any hope. I'm so happy I held on to this instead of giving it away. Yes! to amazing hair. This deserves more than 5 stars.

I've been a huge fan of the original Nexxus Headress Weightless Leave-In Conditioner for years. Nothing ever came close to it for detangling my long, fairly thick hair and leaving it soft and smooth, so I didn't mind the higher salon-product price. This new version bears no resemblance to the old Weightless Leave-In Conditioner outside the shape of the bottle! The ingredients in this product differ from the original. It didn't do anything horrible to my hair. It didn't really do anything at all to it. It didn't detangle it. It didn't soften it. Except for the rather strong lingering scent (not as pleasant as the original scent), it left my hair exactly as it is when I don't use a leave-in conditioner. I tried it a couple of times just to give it a fair shot, then threw out the rest of it. Save your money!

I bought this to use with the other Nexxus products I use. I have very fine, thin hair but it's also dry and over-processed (permed and colored) and has a tendency to "frizz". This product helped my dry hair without weighing my hair down. When I used my Helen of Troy hot curling brush, it protected the ends from getting too dry.

It leaves my waist length hair shiny, soft, tangle and STATIC FREE. The ends look perfect. There are no flyaways. It is an easy and quick solution to my dull, dry, lifeless and staticy hair. I put a little in my hair after a light towel drying and that is it. Out the door I go. Silky hair is a beautiful thing.

I live in Canada, and we dont have a lot of Nexxus products coming into the country. So when I visit the US, I like to stock up on hair products. I had been recommended Headress by a friend because she swears by this brand, so I gave it a try.I felt it definitely wasnt the best hair conditioner Ive tried, its definitely not weightless, and leaves your hair less than perfectly soft and smooth.BioSilk gives better results for sure.

This is a nice product but you have to know how to use it, like all Nexxus products and most others, you cant just put it on the hair without knowing how and when to use it and expect it to work.. I give it 5 stars because it has help the condition of my hair.
