Curly Hair Solutions Slip Detangler 8 oz.

I got this for my daughter's hair which is tight beautiful curls, but a pain to comb/wash. Every bath time is a fight with her. Anyway, it works alright but you have to use A LOT to work and it doesn't weigh down the curls as well as the other product we use.

SLIP is a detangler/leave in conditioner that supposedly changes the ph of your hair to help detangle and start the curl. I like this stuff. It isn't heavy but works very well at detangling. You spray it on wet hair and leave for 30 seconds before using a detangling comb. It is light weight and doesn't build up on your hair.

When I first got it, I had nothing to compare it too. I am transitioning and was in my second month when I purchased it. It worked well but as I began to approach my third month, it got harder to detangle. I endeded up purchasing Giovanni Leave in and with it the comb slips through with ease. I have 4a hair . Therefore I wouldn't repurchase this product.

I've been using Curly Hair Solutions' Slip for almost two years now, with excellent results every time I've used it. My extremely fine, 3b hair can tie itself up into one strand knots, and Slip even deals well with those. On rare occasions, I've even used it on dry hair to get those knots out, with great success. I don't know how it could get any better.

I wet my hair and pump Slip all over my head with particular attention paid to the ends. Then I wait for a count of 10 and my comb slides through my hair easily -- no sweat. The trick is to give the product a few seconds to penetrate your hair.

I have long curly hair that seems to snarl and tangle easily and so am always on the lookout for products that can help untangle my hair after washing. I did not find this product that good at detangling my hair. Ill be curious to learn if anyone else finds it effective
