It's Preference...
I really like this paddle brush in that when I brush my hair with it, it has a gliding sensation that I really enjoy. I have very thick, course curly hair and it helps to detangle and makes it very easy as opposed to some other brushes I have experience with. I do like this brush and the way it feels but it truly does depend on how soft headed you are.I would recommend it!

Great Brush!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this brush. It actually feels like a mini scalp massage. I am a hairdresser so brushes are super important. This brush detangles and smooths hair GREAT. I recommend this 4 sure :)
