I just received this & I am not someone who normally curls my hair. This takes some practice & getting used to...but the more you do the more you will learn. I found it worked best with small amounts of hair at a time. Also you must twirl it or bounce the curl after to help it stick. The curls look great & don't look to Perfect or identical which I LOVE!!, they are more of an effortless awesome. Watch tutorials online & you will get the hang of it, it is overall a great purchase & multi- tool.

not at all what I expected. I have very unmanageable curly hair. I tried to straighten my hair first and then do medium size curls. I couldnt even straighten my hair properly, then types of curls that came out were very frizzy. I think the product would work better if there were no ridges just smooth unit. The ridges cause your curls to be poofed out. I tried to reverse the curls and restraighten my hair. it was just a big mess. I rather buy two separate machines: one to straighten and one to curl. try and try again...

love it, its great on african american hair, i donr even have to turn the heat setting all the way up AND they heat up in 30 seconds, everyone loves them but i hate to share.... :(
